Web consultants (London or Cardiff)
Our consulting team help clients create successful websites. In this multi-disciplinary role we deliver expert advice on new technologies; share usability and accessibility best practice; advise on editorial planning; and produce website strategies for major clients across a range of sectors. Our work typically involves information architecture development, user research, and workshop and focus group facilitation. We are expanding our teams in London and Cardiff. If you have experience working on major web projects, in either an agency or client-side role then we would like to hear from you. Salary depending on experience.
Strategy consultants (London or Cardiff)
You'll need at least 3 years experience working on major web projects, either as a consultant, project manager, or as an in-house manager. Excellent communications skills, a compelling personality, great analytical and problem solving skills are all a must if you are to excel in this role. Salary depending on experience.
Outstanding web designer (London or Cardiff)
We're looking for a creative, articulate and enthusiastic team player. You'll have an excellent web portfolio and be big on attention to detail. You will also need great communication skills and around four years experience. Salary depending on experience.
Project manager (London or Cardiff)
You'll have at least 2 years project management experience within a design and communications agency, ideally delivering branding and web projects. You should be passionate about quality, meticulous about documentation, but more than anything else great with people.
Web developer (Worthing, London or Cardiff)
We're expanding and looking for a talented, enthusiastic developer to join us. You must have good XHTML, CSS, ASP or PHP and JSP skills as well as proven experience in building websites from design concept. You will be working with a broad range of bespoke, enterprise and open source CMSs and increasingly varied technologies (e.g. Google maps, Google mini, Facebook, WordPress).
JavaScript, .NET and a working knowledge of web content management systems would also be highly advantageous. This is a great opportunity to learn new skills and work as part of a friendly, professional agency.

Digital Marketing Executive (London)
Web 2.0 and SEO are now a vital part of any organisations' communications strategy. We here at Precedent are at the forefront of employing these new technologies to help organisations re-think their strategies and refresh their thinking. We are looking to recruit a talented digital marketing executive to help continue our pioneering work in this area. You must be comfortable working across a broad spectrum of online media, and will be experienced in building highly successful marketing strategies, including hands-on search optimisation and PPC campaigns and e-mail marketing. Experience working on social media marketing campaigns would be beneficial. You will be able to communicate effectively with both our clients and internal consultants as you add your technical expertise to their projects and proposals. You will also be degree-qualified with at least one year's commercial experience in the new media or Internet sector ideally in a digital marketing/SEO role. A strong working knowledge of keyword mining techniques and analysis challenges would enhance your application.
Graduate Consultant (London)
We are looking to recruit an exceptional graduate consultant to continue our pioneering work. As part of the training experience, the consultant would spend 1 year working in a range of posts within the consultancy team. Typical tasks might include: Working as an analyst on a range of strategy and usability projects, undertaking competitor reviews, usability audits and site activity analysis. Developing a broad understanding of the digital media marketplace, evaluating competitors, reviewing software solutions and service providers.
The successful candidate will be a creative thinker with a good eye for detail and willing to take the initiative and learn quickly within a small independent organisation. Above all they must be self-motivated and excited about working within the communications and digital media arena.
Specific skills and knowledge related to communications and digital media are not essential, as this will form part of the learning process. However the candidate should have a good grasp of the concepts of communication, branding and the Internet gained either through specific subjects covered on their course, or through a general awareness and interest in these areas.
