  • As the first University Hospital to achieve Trust status, Imperial College Healthcare was in need of a new website and brand that accurately reflected its role, not only as a top academic research organisation, but also as a highly-professional institution for those seeking medical care. It needed to make it's newly established position clear and ensure their offering was accurately articulated online.

  • By undertaking some initial research and speaking to a wide cross section of people, from heads of departments to the hospital's helpline operators, we gained a real understanding of what users needed and how to cater to these needs online. This included everything from practical hospital information incorporating Google Maps, to more detailed medical advice, integrating forums and a thorough GP directory.

  • Featuring the friendly faces of the staff throughout, the new site now presents all its information in a targeted, professional manner for patients, visitors and professionals alike. The clean-cut style and colourful typography aids the simple navigation, while the RSS feed keeps all the news segments up-to-date and relevant.
