Communicating the National School of Government
When the Centre for Management & Policy Studies came to us with their new name and logo, we needed to give them a context for their changing role. No longer purely a training provider for the civil servants, they needed to be seen as something quite different within government and the public sector.
Our brand strategy created four 'pillars' of the National School - Leading, Learning, Consulting, Researching to neatly sum up what they offer, and give us a campaign theme which could be used to launch the school, and beyond. We worked within strict Cabinet Office guidelines, and closely with the National School's in house design team as we created a fresh look and feel for brochures, exhibitions, a flash presentation and the web.
We organised the official launch at the Royal Society in London. Launch brochures and exhibitions were there on the day, and our launch strategy suggested other activities and communications to make sure all of the National School's audiences were targeted.
We've recently finalised a web strategy to make sure the online communications work hard to target all of their different audiences.
