Adding value to him!'s online offerings

him! had a website that was informative, simple and easy to use. However for him! to continue as a leading retail consultancy, it needed a website that was inviting, engaging and regularly used. It needed a website that went beyond simple information provision.

We worked with him! to achieve this aim by combining in-depth research and detailed consulting with him!. Using our findings to tackle this issue, we planned an engaging design and information architecture that went much further then just information broadcasting. The website now acts as an added value tool for visitors, encouraging regular visits and participation, while also showcasing him!'s services to potential clients, jobseekers and the media.

An important feature of the site is Webpilot - a Precedent created content management system. This system enables him! staff to personalise and update their website, giving them the opportunity to provide promotions and features, such as user registration, an online shop, and lead-generating feedback forms. Webpilot also allows the website to become a recognised one stop shop for retail news, information and expertise.

Extra added value functionalities that we included like a returning users' own individualised mini homepage combined with tailored content and RSS feeds will entice the occasional visitor to become the involved user, and potentially a new client.
